NVQ Level 3 in Children´s Care, Learning and Development

How does it work

You´ll take nine units; the units shown below are mandatory and must be taken:

• Developing and promoting positive relationships
• Developing and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure environment for children
Promoting children´s development
• Reflecting on, and developing, practice
• Protecting and promoting children´s rights.

There is also a requirement that the learner completes 4 optional units in addition to these.

Who is this course for

This course is aimed at people who are working in face-to-face roles with children, young people, up to 16 years and families, either supervising others or working unsupervised. It continues your professional development from level 2 and acts as a stepping-stone in your career.

The NVQ Level 3 in Children´s Care, Learning and Development course covers practical, work related tasks, which are designed to demonstrate competence at work. Learners must, therefore, be employed for the whole period of the qualification.
